What's your reaction when you see the picture above?  I bet your mouth becomes watery and suddenly you feel hungry.......ho...ho....  This menu is actually very simple, but don't ask me about the taste....!   The sensation from hot chili and the aroma from shrimp paste, which are dominant, will vamp us up not to stop eating until the rice in the bowl is empty.  Exaggerating?  You won't find the answer until you really try it!   For those who cannot stand with the hotness from chili, just remove it from the list of ingredients.  Now click 'Read more' button below to see the recipe.......

  
Ingredients (for 5 people):
-200 gr Beef tenderloin, thinly sliced and boil till the broth remains 100 ml.
-400 gr Morning glory, split the stem from the leaves
-2 Red pepper, thinly sliced
-2 Green pepper, thinly sliced
-10 Chili, roughly sliced
-1 Tomato, cut into 8 parts
-25 gr Parkia (optional)
-1/2 tsp Shrimp paste
-6 cloves Shallot, thinly sliced
-3 cloves Garlic, thinly sliced
-3 pieces Bay leaves
-2 inch cube Galangal, crushed
-Salt as needed (at least 3/4 tsp)
-Sugar (at least 1 tsp)
-4 tbs Frying oil

Directions:
-Heat frying oil in a wok.  Drop shallot, garlic, tomato, and shrimp paste. Stir till the aroma comes out, then add red pepper, green pepper, chili, parkia, galangal, bay leaves,  and  boiled tenderloin.  Continue stirring until the peppers change in color.
-Add morning glory stems which has been chopped 3 cm long, salt, and sugar.  Cook for about 2 minutes, then add morning glory leaves and the beef broth.  Fix the taste and give the final stir for another 1 minute.
-Serve the plate with rice.....

Apa reaksi teman-teman saat melihat foto diatas?  Nampaknya  mulut kalian akan penuh dengan air liur yang mengalir deras....dan tiba-tiba si perut jadi terasa lapar......iya nggak? ho...ho....  Menu ini sebetulnya sangat sederhana tapi jangan tanya tentang rasanya.....!  Sensasi pedas dan aroma terasi yang sangat dominan bisa menggoda kita untuk tidak berhenti makan sebelum nasi di bakul habis......   Lebay?  Teman-teman tidak akan mendapatkan jawabannya sebelum betul-betul mencobanya!  Bagi yang tidak suka pedas, tinggal menghapus cabenya dari daftar bahan.  Ini dia resepnya.....

Bahan (untuk 5 orang):
-200 gr Daging sapi has dalam yang dipotong tipis , rebus sebentar hingga kaldu tersisa kira-kira 100 ml.
-400 gr Kangkung, pisahkan antara batang dan daunnya
-2 Cabe merah, iris tipis
-2 Cabe hijau, iris tipis
-10 Cabe rawit, iris kasar
-1 Tomat, potong 8 bagian
-25 gr Petai (opsional)
-1/2 sdt Terasi 1/2
-6 siung Bawang merah, iris tipis
-3 siung Bawang putih, iris tipis
-3 lbr Daun salam
-2 jari Laos, digeprak
-Garam secukupnya (paling sedikit 3/4 sdt)
-Gula putih (paling sedikit1 sdt)
-4 sdm Minyak goreng

Cara:
-Panaskan minyak goreng di wajan, masukkan bawang merah, bawang putih, tomat, dan terasi.  Aduk-aduk hingga harum, lalu masukkan cabe merah, cabe hijau, cabe rawit, petai,  laos, daun salam, dan irisan daging rebus.  Aduk terus hingga cabe berubah warna.
-Masukkan batang kangkung yang sudah dipotong pendek, garam, dan gula.  Masak kira-kira 2 menit, lalu masukkan daun kangkung dan kaldu daging.  Mantapkan rasa garam dan gulanya, dan aduk lagi untuk terakhir kalinya kira-kira 1 menit.
-Sajikan  masakan ini bersama nasi....
